一、为贯彻落实习近平总书记等中央领导重要指示精神，根据《中国科协关于加强科技社团党建工作的若干意见》和中国科协学会党建工作会议的精神，发挥党组织在科协所属科技社团中的政治核心、思想引领、组织保障作用，中国数学会于2016年11月18日成立中国数学会党委。袁亚湘同志担任书记、王跃飞同志担任副书记，郭军义同志担任组织委员、叶向东同志担任纪检委员、程晋同志担任宣传委员。
二、中国数学会党委的两项主要工作：
1、学习贯彻党的会议和文件精神；
2、对学会三重一大事项进行把关、把方向。
