On the afternoon of August 27, 2020, the third meeting of the 13th Executive Council of the Chinese Mathematical Society (CMS) was held online. Thirty-seven executive directors of CMS attended the meeting. Professor Fuzhou GONG, Vice President and Secretary-General of CMS chaired the meeting.
First, Academician Gang TIAN, the President of CMS addressed. He expressed greetings to the participants on behalf of CMS. He said that because of the epidemic, the society has not held any meeting since the second meeting of the 13th Executive Council at the beginning of the year, but the society has done a lot of work during this period. He was very happy to call the meeting in a special format today to discuss some issues of CMS needs to be complete now and in the next step.
Next, the executive directors discussed some issues，such as the CCP construction of CMS, the amendment of constitution, the election of the members of the steering committee of Silk Road Mathematics Center, candidates for editorial board of Newsletters of Chinese Mathematical Society, the candidates for deputy secretary general and the office director, the candidates for editorial board of the English Series of Acta Mathematica Sinica, the establishment of the CMS-Mathematics in Medicine professional committee, the election of professional committee on Mathematical logic, the preparation of the found of Mathematics Education Branch, the preparation of the 2020 CMS Annual Meeting, revision of Branch Management Regulations, extension of membership of CMS and introduce to the main work of CMS from January to August 2020. In the meeting, remote voting was also conducted on related issues.
Before the Executive Council, CMS also held the third meeting of the CCP committee and the third meeting of the president, vice presidents and secretary general.

中国数学会第十三届三次常务理事会召开2020年8月27日下午，中国数学会（以下简称“学会”）第十三届三次常务理事会会议以网络视频形式召开。学会37位常务理事出席了会议。学会副理事长兼秘书长巩馥洲研究员主持会议。 学会理事长田刚院士首先讲话。他代表学会对参会代表致以问候。今年情况特殊，受到疫情影响，学会自年初的常务理事会后一直没有开会。但学会在此期间做了不少工作。非常高兴在今天用这个比较特殊的形式开一次常务理事会，讨论一些中国数学会现在需要完成的事和下一步的一些工作。 接下来，常务理事会对学会党建工作、学会章程修订、学会丝路数学中心指导委员会换届人选、学会通讯编委会人选、学会副秘书长和办公室主任人选、《数学学报》英文版编委会换届人选、拟设立医学数学专业委员会、数理逻辑专业委员会换届、筹备数学教育分会、年会筹备情况、分支机构管理办法的修订、学会会员资格延长以及学会今年1-8月的主要工作总结进行了讨论。并对有关议题进行了远程投票表决。 在此次常务理事会之前，学会还召开了十三届三次党委会议和十三届三次正副理事长秘书长会议。 中国数学会办公室供稿 2020年8月28日
